DESCRIPTION :
Maximum adherence on most unprimed surfaces : iron and many steels, aluminium, lead, zinc, copper, brass, concrete and brickwork, natural stone, plaster, polycarbonate, polyester, plexiglass, polystyrene, polyurethane, PVC and other synthetic materials, paving and ceramics, glass and its by-products, paint, wood.
• Adheres to damp surfaces,
• Weather and age resistant,
• Bacteria and moss resistant,
• Does not mark porous surfaces (natural stone),
• Compatible with paints (liquid and powder),
• Very strong mechanical resistance,
• Does not contain silicones, solvants, isocyanates, nor phthalates,
• No shrinkage, odourless,
• Complete polymerization of the mixed components in 4 hours.
METHOD OF USE:
Item : Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, grease, dust and particle free. If needed, degrease with ND ECO 2000. On porous or fl aking surfaces use ROXY DSAP.
TO PAINT:
Excellent compatibility with most car paints and lacquers. Can be painted straight after application of the mastic. Adherence is dependent on the formula of the paint Prior testing is always recommended.
Minimum thickness of glue : 2 mm All gluing and joint sealing work in the building trade.
• Sticking and joining together natural stone such as marble, granite, bluestone and other materials which are prone to absorbing oils and plasticizers.
• For gluing all types of mirrors.
• For gluing various types of joints in bathrooms and utility rooms.
• Especially recommended for the gluing of impermeable substrates, air tight or for joints with minimal air contact
• Gluing and sealing in car bodywork manufacturing and in the aircraft, metal and naval industries.
• Non- rigid gluing of materials exposed to vibration.
CHARACTERISTICS :
Smooth with soapy water (ph neutral). In places of low U.V. exposure the mastic may yellow slightly. This can also happen during cross linkage, in contact with acid vapours or detergents. Is not suitable for use in permanent underwater conditions, aquariums, nor on PE, PP, Teflon®, rubber, bitumen materials, nor with substances containing paraffin or wax. Prior testing for adherence and compatibility is always recommended. Cleaning of polymerized mastic : Mechanically Hand cleaning : use with LINGETTES NETTOYANTES ROXY HAND CLEANER
