DESCRIPTION:
Biowater is a biological product that safely cleans up bilge water. Bilge water is normally difficult to treat and costly to dispose of, any spill overboard of boats is punishable by very severe penalties. The alternative is onboard treatment, Biowater breaks down the contaminant whilst in the bilge or in holding tanks, eliminating the need for pumping out and discharging. There is no risk in contact with Rubber, PVC or Fibreglass material. Biowater is not harmful to marine life and is salty-water tolerant. Biowater contains group 1 non-pathogenic microorganisms N0RM 2000/54/EC and a high proportion of nutrients that quickly break down the contaminants. The bacteria will adapt to most environments. Best results are obtained under aerobic conditions.
INSTRUCTIONS:
The product can be diluted and sprayed in the bilge, on to machinery or can be alternatively used on the boat partitions.
Dosage:
For boats up to 8m : 250 grs and repeat the process every 14 days.
9m to 25m: 500 grs and repeat the process using 250 grs every 14 days.
26m upwards: 500 grs and repeat the process using 500 grs every 14 days.
Holding tanks:
100 grs per m3 of contaminated water. For dilution: 100 grs in 5L of warm water. No additional nutrients are required.
